Re-Piping Copper or Pex

Pex piping works with hot and cold water. It has fewer joints so the cost of your repiping project is lowered. If you live in regions with extremely cold temperatures, pex piping is less likely to crack or break than copper piping. We repipe for both overhead and complete.

Why Service Is Important

If pipes are cracking and corrosive then issues may arise that could have been avoided by having the pipes properly checked on periodically to make sure no issues are happening. The main difference between using copper pipes and pex pipes is how pex pipes are non corrosive and have a 25 year warranty.

Service FAQ's

Most frequently answered questions to our Re-Piping Services if you cannot find your answers please feel free to call us. We are available for service calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Repiping with PEX tends to be cheaper compared to copper as the materials used to make PEX cost less and plumbing with PEX is quicker and easier, reducing labor costs.

PEX does not require a torch for making connections, thus making it safer for repipe plumbing installations. With PEX, the water will flow quieter, almost eliminating the “water hammer” noise that is characteristic of copper piping.

PEX Tubing is much more resistant to freeze-breakage than copper or rigid plastic pipe. Attaching PEX tube to fittings does not require soldering, and so eliminates the health hazards involved with lead-based solder and acid fluxes.
